Raw Material for Industry (Raw Material): Yarrow Hydrosol / Milfoil Water
INCI: Achillea Millefolium Water
CAS: 84082-83-7
Yarrow hydrosol is obtained through steam distillation of the flowering tops of the plant.
It is rich in vitamins K, C, and A, as well as acids (salicylic, glycolic, and ascorbic) and flavonoids.
This hydrosol is recommended for the care of reddened skin with rosacea and visible blood vessels.
When added to cosmetics, it has toning, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties.
In pure form – Use yarrow hydrosol as a facial toner or a refreshing, aromatic mist.
Apply to the skin after cleansing your face. While the skin is still damp, follow with your favorite serum, cream, or oil.
Enhance a homemade mask – Mix your favorite clay with the hydrosol until you achieve the desired consistency.
You can add half a teaspoon of your chosen oil and a few drops of your favorite active ingredients (such as hyaluronic acid, grapefruit oil, or collagen).
Use as an ingredient in DIY cosmetics – Incorporate yarrow hydrosol as the water phase in the production of your cream, lotion, serum, or toner.
Add to a scrub – Due to its ascorbic and glycolic acid content, it effectively removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores, refreshes, and brightens the skin.
Recommended concentration in cosmetics: up to 100%, meaning it can be used undiluted.
Yarrow hydrosol strengthens blood vessels, making them less fragile and more elastic.
As a result, it reduces redness and skin irritation.
Thanks to its tannin content, it has an astringent effect on enlarged pores,
while salicylic acid supports the care of oily and acne-prone skin.
Vitamins A and C protect the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals.
The hydrosol helps remove dead skin cells, unclogs pores, refreshes, and brightens the complexion.
For hair care – Recommended for oily hair prone to dandruff.
It is recommended to store in a refrigerator.
For short periods (up to 2–3 weeks), it can be kept at room temperature.
Observe the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
