Specifications:
HYDROLYZED SILK
Application:
Silk proteins are very similar to the proteins that build hair and nails, making them well-absorbed into the tissues. Hydrolyzed silk can be used as an addition to hair conditioners (at a concentration of 1:30) or as a base for a silk hair rinse (diluted in water at a ratio of 1 part silk to 10 or 20 parts water). Silk works well with hydrolyzed keratin, and they can be used together as a hair compress (important to dilute properly before use, rinse off after a minimum of 20 minutes), or simply add a few drops to a finished conditioner. It's also a valued addition to daily creams or body and hand balms.
