This is unusual. Many raw materials have a NOI of 1 (i.e. they are fully derived from natural sources), but have an NI of 0 because they have been chemically processed. In this case, both values are 1, meaning that the raw material is classified as natural and not only as being of natural origin.

Application

The oil-soluble bamboo extract is a modern, plant-based active ingredient with a high content of natural silica as well as bioactive antioxidants. It strengthens the structure of skin, hair, and nails, transforming ordinary formulations into a luxurious and at the same time sustainable regenerating treatment.
The greatest advantage of the oil-based formulation is that it can be used in cosmetic products where water-soluble extracts cannot be incorporated. Most plant extracts are water-soluble and therefore cannot be easily introduced into facial oils, balms, or dry hair oils. Our extract is directly incorporated into the oil phase.

The oil-soluble bamboo extract is suitable as a highly active ingredient for:
• Strengthening hair oils, hair serums, and hair conditioners
• Regenerating body oils and body balms
• Firming face creams and facial serums
• Nail and cuticle care oils as well as serums
• Specialized scalp care products

Recommended use concentration: 1–10 %
20 ml are sufficient for approx. 200 ml of a formulation at a concentration of 10 % or approx. 400 ml at 5 %.

Use in formulations:
The extract is added to the oil phase of a formulation or to finished cosmetic products (oils, serums, balms, or hair care products).
To preserve the full activity of the ingredients, the extract should preferably be incorporated at temperatures below 40 °C.

Examples of DIY applications:
• As a strengthening additive to hair oil or hair serum (for the entire hair length as well as the ends)
• As a component of a luxurious body oil with firming and smoothing properties
• As an active ingredient in an anti-aging face cream or facial serum
• As an oil treatment for nails and cuticles to improve their condition and resistance to damage

Benefits

In skin and hair care formulations, the extract provides a smooth, silky skin feel as well as a well-groomed appearance and shine to the hair.
The flavonoids and tannins contained in bamboo provide the formulation with antioxidant properties. This effect is supported by vitamin E naturally present in sunflower oil.
The sunflower oil base is lightweight and is ideal for formulations that absorb quickly and leave no sticky film.

Skin:

Storage

Store the product in a tightly closed container, in a cool and dark place.
Protect from direct sunlight and heat sources.
After each use, close the bottle tightly to minimize contact with air and moisture.

Avoid contact with eyes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
