Nourishing Winter Cream

Cold outdoor air and warm, dry indoor air during winter cause our skin to require slightly different care. It's particularly important to maintain the proper moisture level, care for the hydrolipid barrier, and intensely nourish the skin. Hence, our suggestion – a cream that ensures the skin doesn't suffer so much from a less nutrient-rich diet and from harmful external factors.

Ingredients:

Cream base – 100 g

Tea tree oil – 2 ml

4% Hyaluronic acid – 5 ml

Vitamin E – 3 ml

These ingredients create a comprehensive blend that nourishes the skin, moisturizes, and protects it from cold winter winds and low temperatures. The packages contain larger amounts of the preparations than you will use to make the cream. The leftovers can be stored for making further cosmetics or used to enrich recipes such as body butter, hair conditioner, or face masks.

How do the individual ingredients in the cream work?

Cream base – serves as the foundation of the cream, ensuring the right consistency.

Tea tree oil – has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help protect the skin from irritation caused by cold.

Hyaluronic acid – effectively moisturizes the skin by retaining water in the deeper skin layers, which is especially important in winter.

Vitamin E – acts as a powerful antioxidant, protects the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals, and provides additional moisture. It also acts as a natural preservative for our cosmetic product.

Recipe (yields about 110 ml of cosmetic):

Add the oily ingredients (tea tree oil) first to the cream base and mix. Then add the hyaluronic acid and finally the vitamin E. The quantities of the preparations are approximate – you don't need to follow them exactly.

Additionally, you might consider adding other ingredients such as squalane oil to enhance skin protection and shea butter to boost the nourishing properties of the cream.
