Rose flowers are rich in vitamins C, K, and B group. In addition, they contain flavonoids, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and elements such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, and zinc.
Damask rose hydrosol intensely moisturizes and soothes the skin. It prevents wrinkles, firms the skin, giving it a younger appearance. Rose water for the face is recommended for dry, mature, tired, problematic, and sensitive skin.
Effects:
• Smooths, mattifies, and nourishes the skin
• Highly moisturizing; restores the skin's natural pH
• Effectively protects the skin from moisture loss
• Firms the skin and reduces wrinkles; slows down the aging process
• Strengthens blood vessels and brightens discoloration
• Soothes and has anti-inflammatory effects; has astringent and antiseptic properties
Uses:
• Use as a toner or mist – Use organic rose hydrosol in its pure form as a facial toner or a refreshing mist. Apply to the skin after cleansing. While the skin is still damp, apply your serum, cream, or oil.
• Use as a compress for tired and reddened eyelids.
• Add to cosmetics – A small amount of hydrosol can be added to your face cream just before application; with thick creams and other cosmetics, hydrosol improves glide during application and adds care benefits.
• Use in homemade masks and scrubs instead of water – Mix clay or scrub with hydrosol until the desired consistency is achieved.
• Spray on your hair (we recommend adding a few drops of Biotin)
• Add to your DIY cosmetics – Use its properties in making your own cream, balm, serum, or toner.
• Bedding freshener – Lightly spray it on your pillow; the hydrosol helps you fall asleep and ensures a peaceful night's sleep.
• Post-shave water – Soothes the skin and reduces irritation.
• Regenerating compress for minor skin abrasions, sunburns, and insect bites.
