Usage
Ideal as an additive for shampoos, conditioners, and hair masks (up to 10% of the base product volume).
For hair care, it can also be used as a spray on damp hair after washing or as a hair rinse.
Effective in nail care – a few drops of oil combined with a few drops of the product creates an effective nail serum.
Other applications: addition to hand creams and masks (up to 30% of the base cream volume).
Silk is also an excellent ingredient for body balms.
Effects
Keratin fills gaps in the hair structure – penetrates the hair, rebuilds damaged areas, and forms a protective colloidal layer on the surface. Additionally, it provides intense hydration, regulates moisture, and improves fiber strength, reducing breakage and split ends.
Silk proteins penetrate hair, nourishing and moisturizing it. They work synergistically with keratin-based products. On the hair surface, they form a thin protective film that shields against UV and external factors. They improve manageability, prevent static, and add a silky shine. Especially recommended for weak or chemically treated hair.
In skin care, silk proteins nourish the skin, protect against moisture loss, and provide exceptional softness. Due to their small molecular size, they easily penetrate the epidermis and reach deeper skin layers.
