Usage
Ideal as an additive for shampoos, conditioners, and hair masks (add the products in an amount up to 10% of the volume of the base product).
In hair care, we also recommend using them after dilution as a spray (on damp hair after washing) or as a hair rinse.
The products are also effective in nail care – the easiest way is to combine a few drops of the oil with several drops of the products to create an effective nail serum.
Another application is adding them to hand creams and masks (add the products in an amount up to 30% of the volume of the base cream).
Silk is also an ideal ingredient for body lotions.
Effect
Keratin fills in gaps in the hair structure like cement – it penetrates the hair and integrates into damaged areas, forming a protective colloidal layer on the surface. Additionally, it intensely moisturizes the hair, regulates moisture levels, and improves the mechanical strength of the fibers, preventing breakage during combing. It also reduces the tendency for split ends.
Silk proteins penetrate the hair, nourish, and moisturize it. They work excellently with keratin-based care products. On the surface of the hair, they form a thin film that protects the hair from UV rays and other external factors. By moisturizing the hair, they improve its manageability, prevent static, and give it a silky shine. They are especially recommended for the care of weak or damaged hair due to salon treatments.
In skin care, they nourish the skin, protect it from moisture loss, and provide exceptional smoothness. Due to their small molecular size, they easily penetrate the skin’s surface and reach deeper layers.
