Application

Marjoram seed oil is rich not only in aromatic compounds but above all in nourishing fatty acids. It is a specialty raw material with strong anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, regenerating and sebum-regulating properties. It is also used as an ingredient in antioxidant cosmetics.

This oil works perfectly as an active oil in skin and hair care. It can be applied directly to the skin or incorporated into emulsions, serums, massage oils and hair care products.

Main active components:
• Unsaturated fatty acids: Very high content of linoleic acid (Omega-6), which is essential for restoring the lipid barrier, has anti-inflammatory properties and regulates sebum production.
• Natural antiseptic compounds: Contains terpinen-4-ol and other components of the essential oil responsible for strong antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory effects.
• Phytosterols and antioxidants: A natural source of vitamin E and phytosterols, which soothe, regenerate and protect the skin against free radicals.

Dosage: 1–10% in emulsions and serums, up to 100% in massage and body oils.

• As a key ingredient in serums and creams for acne-prone, oily and problematic skin.
• In massage oils with warming and pain-relieving effects.
• As an active ingredient in regenerating and anti-inflammatory creams.
• In scalp treatments and oils for problematic scalp conditions.
