Application
Lycomega is one of the most powerful natural antioxidants and an oil-based product that is fully soluble in oils. The recommended usage concentration in cosmetic formulations is 2–5%, and it can be safely increased to 10–20% if needed.
The active ingredient is well known among superfood and dietary supplement enthusiasts as a means to support cancer prevention, as it neutralizes free radicals in the body. In cosmetic formulations, Lycomega exhibits comparable antioxidant activity, making it a preferred ingredient in anti-aging products.
Recommended for all skin types, especially dry, oily, and combination skin. Also ideal for hair care products – the simplest formulation is 5 ml of Lycomega per 95 ml of carrier oil, such as jojoba, almond, or argan oil. In creams and lotions, Lycomega should be added to the oil phase during production.
