Lemon balm hydrosol is obtained through steam distillation of Melissa officinalis leaves.
This hydrosol is 100% natural, free from preservatives or artificial additives.
In cosmetics, it is used in anti-aging, sebum-regulating, protective, and after-sun care (also suitable for use after tanning sessions).
It is a great addition to skincare products for blemished skin (creams, serums, masks).
Perfect for body lotions, especially those targeting cellulite.
When used as a scalp treatment, it helps reduce dryness and itching.
It can also be used as a hair mist, giving hair a sweet herbal scent.
Use pure – Apply directly to the skin as a face toner or refreshing aromatic mist after cleansing.
Enhance homemade masks – Mix your favorite clay with the hydrosol until you reach the desired consistency. You can also add half a teaspoon of a chosen oil and a few drops of active ingredients (e.g., hyaluronic acid, collagen, or snail mucin).
DIY cosmetics ingredient – Use the hydrosol as the water phase in homemade creams, lotions, serums, or toners.
Recommended concentration in cosmetics: 10-100% (can be used directly on the skin).
Lemon balm hydrosol has toning, astringent, and relaxing properties, making it effective in anti-cellulite treatments, vein support, and relieving heavy legs and ankle swelling.
It is useful in treating hemorrhoids, has anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, and helps alleviate skin irritations and eczema.
