Description
INCI: Alumina
Crystal size: 120 μm
Application
High-quality corundum, tested for use in the cosmetics industry. It is used for deep epidermal exfoliation – microdermabrasion.
Microdermabrasion is a very simple procedure. Before treatment, makeup should be thoroughly removed. Apply the clay in a facial cleansing gel, a cosmetic oil, or a non-greasy cream. Example: one teaspoon of clay per 50–60 ml of gel, or 5–6 teaspoons per cream. After a few treatments, you can adjust these proportions to suit your own needs. Massage the prepared mixture into the skin for 2–3 minutes (be careful on the most sensitive areas, avoiding the eye and mouth areas).
Rinse off after massage and apply a cream, cosmetic oil, or lotion.
Main indications for microdermabrasion:
- general regeneration of healthy or damaged, wrinkled, sagging, or keratinized skin
- acne-prone, polluted, or problematic skin
- pigmentation disorders and hyperpigmentation, acne scars
- seborrhea, blackheads, and pimples
- stretch marks and cellulite
Treatments should be repeated weekly (no more!) up to 10–12 sessions per series.
Effects
The immediate effect of microdermabrasion is deep cleansing of the skin and improved firmness.
Reduction of skin pores is immediately visible.
The massage also stimulates subcutaneous circulation, enhancing the deeper absorption of cosmetic active ingredients and improving skin nutrition.
The peeling reduces fine lines, lightens pigmentation spots, evens out skin tone, and minimizes scars.
Storage
Store at room temperature in an airtight container.
