Application

Peptides are essential in skincare – they penetrate the skin and bind to receptors on the cell surface to stimulate cellular activity. Hexapeptides consist of a sequence of six amino acids and are used to support collagen synthesis, improve skin tone, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The yeast isolate Saccharomyces cerevisiae was originally used to mask signs of fatigue, such as dark circles under the eyes. Today, it is mainly used to improve skin elasticity and increase hydration.

Form: Clear or slightly cloudy liquid, fully water-soluble.
Use in cosmetics: Incorporate into the water phase of formulations (after oils) at a maximum temperature of 40 °C.
Recommended concentration: 0.5–3 %.
