Application

Green tea hydrosol – an organic distillate from dried Camellia sinensis leaves obtained by steam distillation. It appears as a straw-colored liquid with a delicate tea scent.

Green tea contains numerous valuable active components, including:
• Polyphenols
• Vitamins A, C, E, K and B-group vitamins
• Mineral salts (potassium, iron, calcium, manganese)
• Amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids, organic acids, proteins, tannins, chlorophyll and carotenoids

The hydrosol is an excellent base for facial mists, micellar waters, toners, as well as an additive in creams, serums, hypoallergenic perfumes and intimate hygiene products. It shows antiseptic and soothing properties. Compresses soaked in the hydrosol (diluted with water) reduce puffiness and alleviate the effects of excessive sun exposure.

Examples of use:
• As a compress for swollen and tired eyes
• As a toner or refreshing mist for face or hair
• In homemade masks – mix your favorite clay with hydrosol to achieve the right consistency; optionally add ½ teaspoon of oil and a few drops of active ingredients
• As an ingredient in DIY cosmetics – hydrosol serves as the water phase in creams, lotions, serums or toners
• As a hair mist or scalp tonic
