Application

French BIO green clay Velay Green is a 100% natural, certified mineral raw material dedicated to the care of oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. It can be used in face masks, scrubs, cleansing pastes, and detoxifying body wraps.
Recommended concentration in cosmetic formulas: up to 30%. One flat 5 ml scoop weighs approximately 2.5 g.

How to use BIO green clay?

Purifying face mask

The simplest mask can be prepared by mixing 4 tablespoons of BIO green clay with approximately 3 tablespoons of water – it’s best to add the water gradually until a smooth paste is formed. This basic formula can be enriched with active ingredients such as a few drops of hyaluronic acid, hydrosol, herbal infusion, or a small amount of powdered algae.
Apply the mask to clean facial skin, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Leave it on for 15–20 minutes – do not allow it to dry completely. You can cover your face with a damp compress or mist it with thermal water. Rinse off the mask with warm water.

Note: BIO green clay is not recommended in mask formulas with carrier oils – oily bases may reduce its purifying and absorbing properties. For dry skin, it's better to choose red, pink, or white clay instead.
Important: Always use ceramic or wooden utensils and bowls when preparing clay masks.

Detoxifying bath with BIO green clay

Green clay is also ideal as an ingredient in a cleansing bath. Add approximately half a cup of clay powder to a bathtub filled with warm water and stir well. The bath should last at least 20 minutes. After the bath, do not rub the skin – just gently wrap yourself in a towel to dry.
This treatment has detoxifying and remineralizing effects and supports the skin’s natural regeneration processes.

Storage

Store in a dry place, in a tightly closed container, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
