At-Home Microdermabrasion

To keep your skin healthy, glowing, and in top condition, three things really matter:

  • high-quality ingredients,
  • well-matched formulas, and
  • consistency.

You don't always need to invest in expensive treatments at beauty salons—many of them can be done at home with equally spectacular results.
These rituals include face masks, body balms, hair treatments, and—microdermabrasion.

Indications for Microdermabrasion

  • General regeneration of healthy or damaged skin with wrinkles, sagging, or rough texture
  • Acne-prone, congested, or problematic skin
  • Pigmentation disorders, discoloration, post-acne scars
  • Seborrhea, blackheads, and milia
  • Stretch marks and cellulite

Effects

• Deep cleansing and improved skin firmness
• Visible reduction in pore size
• Massage stimulates subcutaneous circulation, enhancing the absorption of active ingredients and nourishing the skin
• Exfoliation smooths out fine lines and improves skin tone and elasticity
• Brightening of discoloration and evening out of skin tone
• Reduction in the appearance of scars and stretch marks

Microdermabrasion is one of those treatments that delivers immediate results—no waiting required.

Ingredients and Formula Preparation

• 1 teaspoon cosmetic-grade corundum
• 1 or 2 tablespoons camellia oil (can be replaced with other lightweight oils like jojoba, poppy seed oil, or sweet almond oil)
• Optional (but recommended): 2–3 drops of Vitamin E – acts as an antioxidant and nourishes the skin

  1. Mix the corundum with the oil to create a silky paste.
  2. You can adjust the proportions depending on your needs:
  • For delicate, thin, or sensitive skin – add more oil
  • For stronger exfoliation – make the paste thicker
  1. Store the mixture in a tightly sealed dark glass container, away from heat sources.

Adding Vitamin E will extend the shelf life of the formula (it prevents the oil from going rancid), allowing you to store it for several weeks.
Avoid introducing water into the product; always use a dry spatula or spoon when applying.

Treatment

• Apply the mixture to clean facial skin (avoiding the eye area)
• Massage gently in circular motions with your fingertips for 2–3 minutes (increase pressure if your skin can handle more exfoliation)
• Rinse with warm water and finish with your favorite toner, serum, and moisturizer

Repeat the treatment once a week (not more often!), up to 10–12 sessions in one series.
After completing the full series (one jar of corundum will easily last), you’ll be amazed by the results!
