Application

Mandarin essential oil is one of the gentlest and safest citrus oils. Its joyful, sweet, and very pleasant scent makes it popular with both adults and children. In cosmetics, it is valued for its toning effect and support in preventing and caring for stretch marks, while in aromatherapy it is appreciated for its calming properties and support in promoting sleep.

Main Active Ingredients:
The oil’s activity is primarily due to its high D-limonene content, which provides antiseptic and refreshing properties. Other compounds, such as gamma-terpinene, enhance its toning effects.

Recommended Concentration in Formulations: 1–6%

Usage:
• Cosmetics: Active and fragrance ingredient in balms, creams, oil serums, body oils, and children’s cosmetics. Excellent for DIY soaps and shower gels.
• Aromatherapy: Oil burners, diffusers, relaxing baths (diluted in carrier oil)
• Massage: Ingredient in massage oils for relaxation or stretch marks, always diluted in a carrier oil

Benefits

Skin Effects: Antiseptic and toning properties refresh the skin and support the care of blemished skin. The oil improves skin elasticity and is recommended for preventing and treating stretch marks.
Aromatherapeutic Effects: Relaxing and mood-lifting. Calms the nervous system, reduces tension and stress, and supports sleep, especially in children.

Storage

Store the oil in a tightly closed dark glass bottle in a cool, shaded place, away from heat and light to prevent oxidation.

Warnings

May cause irritation on very sensitive skin. Always dilute before applying to skin. Avoid contact with eyes.
Mandarin peel oil is considered safe and generally non-phototoxic. Use caution at very high concentrations.
