Application:

Hydrosol is obtained from Witch Hazel leaves through steam distillation. Its valuable properties were discovered by North American Indians, who used Witch Hazel infusion to heal non-healing wounds. Recommended primarily for oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. An excellent base for facial toner (especially for acne-prone skin), shaving or depilatory liquid. It can be soaked in cosmetic pads and used as compresses for swollen eye areas. Witch Hazel compresses work well for mild burns. Another use is as a base for scalp toner, especially for people prone to dandruff (massage into the scalp after washing or into dry hair). Added to daily cream, it effectively regulates sebum secretion. In cosmetic formulations, the recommended concentration is 20-100%.

Effects description:

Strong anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action (due to a high content of hamamelitanin). Effectively regulates sebaceous gland activity and sebum secretion, preventing the skin from appearing greasy. Soothing action - alleviates irritations and redness. Additionally, it refreshes the skin, making it suitable for dry and sensitive skin. Cleanses and tightens enlarged pores, has antioxidant properties, and improves blood circulation – thanks to the high content of tannins present in the plant.
