Application
Ground coffee beans or their residues after oil extraction contain anthocyanins, vitamins, fruit acids, and numerous active nutrients, including naturally occurring caffeine.
Ground, unroasted green coffee beans are ideal for full-body scrubs due to their unique composition and natural roughness. A scrub is primarily a mechanical treatment that removes the outer layer of the epidermis (usually dead skin cells) and stimulates microcirculation. It is an excellent preparation before applying creams, serums, or lotions.
This treatment is safe and can be performed once or twice a week. Mix the coffee powder with water, oil, body milk, or kefir, and apply to slightly damp skin. Massage gently for about 5 minutes. The intensity of the massage regulates the effectiveness of the scrub. Rinse off remaining residues with water.
