Product description

INCI: LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA FLOWER WATER

pH 3.02
Country of origin: United Kingdom.

Application

Lavender hydrosol is obtained from organically grown narrow-leaved lavender through steam distillation.
It is a versatile hydrosol with a pH below 4, recommended for all skin types.

Lavender hydrosol is an excellent ingredient or base for preparing mists, micellar solutions, or toners.
It can be used as an additive in creams and lotions, serums and face masks, hypoallergenic perfumes, or intimate hygiene products.
This hydrosol is also great as a base for post-shave and post-depilation liquids.
In all these formulations, it provides its antiseptic and soothing properties.

Lavender hydrosol is also used in hair and scalp care. It can be added to shampoos (1:1) and used as a scalp tonic with anti-dandruff properties.

A small amount of hydrosol added to a face cream (just before application) helps prevent clogged pores.

The recommended concentration in cosmetic formulations is 30–80%.
It is one of the strongest hydrosols with a low pH, so dilution with distilled or demineralized water is recommended, especially for sensitive skin.

Effects

Lavender hydrosol is valued for its toning, regenerating, antioxidant, and antiseptic effects.
Not to mention its relaxing lavender scent.

Thanks to bioactive acids and other ingredients, the hydrosol supports skin regeneration, reduces swelling, and has antifungal and antiseptic properties.
The phenols contained in the hydrosol provide a mild astringent and anti-aging effect.

When used in hair care, lavender hydrosol strengthens hair follicles, prevents hair loss, and protects the hair from external factors.
Additionally, it helps combat dandruff.
