Mask for Acne-Prone Skin

This simple DIY face mask is designed for oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. The combination of jojoba oil, tea tree oil, and aloe vera helps regulate sebum production, soothe inflammation, and gently calm the skin.

Thanks to its lightweight formula, the mask is perfect for regular use, especially in the evening.

Ingredients (1 portion)

IngredientAmount
Jojoba Oil10 ml
Tea Tree Oil5 drops
Aloe Vera Extracta few drops (approx. 1–2 ml as needed)

Benefits of the ingredients

Tea Tree Oil

Helps regulate sebum production, reducing the likelihood of breakouts. It has antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, and gently helps dry out blemishes.

Jojoba Oil

Acts as a nourishing base, moisturizes the skin, and helps restore its natural balance. It supports both the oil and moisture levels of the skin without weighing it down.

Aloe Vera Extract

Soothes irritation and supports skin regeneration. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, helping to calm and refresh the skin.

Preparation

The given amounts are enough for one mask application.

  1. Pour 10 ml of jojoba oil into a small bowl.
  2. Add 5 drops of tea tree oil (do not apply undiluted directly to the skin).
  3. Add a few drops of aloe vera extract.
  4. Mix everything thoroughly.

Application

Apply the mask to cleansed facial skin and leave it on for 10–15 minutes. Then rinse off with lukewarm water.

The mask can be used daily, preferably in the evening before bedtime.

Tip

Leftover tea tree oil can also be used for nail care – simply massage it into the nail plate. It may help reduce discoloration and support care after removing gel polish.
